Mansiones Verdes takes the title from the novel Green Mansions: A Romance of the Tropical Forest (1904) written by Williams Henry Hudson. Set in the Essequibo Territory, Rosario translates images from descriptions contained in the story and mixes them with retrieved photographs published by the press reporting 1969’s Rupununi Uprising.
